WW2 German War Merit Cross with Stitch Holes . GO3879

WW2 German War Merit Cross (KVK) with swords. This one seems to be modified to be worn stitched-on, it has 4 holes drilled in corners. Zinc based medal. Unusual, I have not seen this style before, looks like a one-off custom-made (field-made) attachment from a 2nd class KVK. Worn condition.   See Additional Information for shipping dimensions.
