Description A Reproduction of the 1936 pattern Finnish field bottle cover strap. This strap is meant to be used with the m/36 field bottle and the 1936 pattern field bottle cover. This early type of strap and cover were used throughout WW2, but were substituted in production after the Winter War with the simplified 1940 pattern strap and cover. The material is 2 mm thick medium brown cowhide. It is handstitched with white waxed linen thread. There is a steel spring hook for fastening the bottle to the bread bag.
