Spanish Mauser M-1941 Bolo Bayonet. Serial numbered: 6958 above the letter P on one side of the blade ricasso and marker marked with the Toledo logo on the other side of the blade ricasso. Matching number 6958 P on the scabbard as well. Blade length approximately 9 7/8 inches. Worn condition. Additional Notes: The Spanish Mauser M-1941 Bolo Bayonet was designed as a replacement for the earlier M1907 Artillery Bolo. It was issued with the 8mm Mauser M1943 short rifle. The M1941 bayonet features a bolo style blade and retains the heavy crosspiece of its predecessor but with a shorter blade. Produced by the Toledo Arms Factory, the bayonet is known for its high-quality Toledo steel, which has been historically renowned for its hardness and durability.
