Swiss Model 1957 SIG-57 Bayonet. The bayonet has a double edged blade with steel crossguard, muzzle ring, and pommel. FW motif on the one side of the blade ricasso for manufacturer by Waffenfabrik Bern and Serial numbered on the other side of the blade ricasso. Bayonet has a black composite ribbed grip. Composite scabbard with leather frog. Blade length approximately 9 1/4 inches. Worn condition. Additional Notes: The Swiss Model 1957 (m1957) bayonets were manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen from 1957 until the late 1980s, these bayonets complimented the Swiss SIG Sturmgewehr 57 battle rifles in the field.
