Turkish Shorten Conversion Bayonet. Marked AS.FA (for the maker of Askari Fabrika) on pommel area. Also, serial numbered on cross guard area and most likely the hooked quillon portion removed. Most likely converted from a M1890 or previous M1887 model bayonet. Turkish moon and star markings on blade spine. Approximately 9 3/4 inch shorten blade.
